Lincoln Police have identified the man killed in a Monday night crash after his pickup plunged into a creek.
Lincoln Police said 31-year-old Max Wonka, of Lincoln, died in the crash. First responders were called out to South Folsom Street near West Prospector Court, southwest of the Highway 77 and West Van Dorn exit, around 10:20 p.m.
Police think Wonka was killed when his pickup truck left South Folsom Street, went into a ditch then up and over a levee before rolling into the Haines Branch Creek.
Wonka was the sole occupant of the vehicle, police said.
The cause of the crash remains unknown, and the crash report does not list any contributing factors.
