Kotoko player and new wonderkid, Matthew Anim Cudjoe has returned to Ghana with hid manager Samuel Anim Addo, after his trials in Germany with German giants Bayern Munich.
The porcupine warriors’ brilliant youngster, Matthew Anim Cudjoe, has been tipped for greatness and his trials with the German giants is just the first of many with other top European clubs who have been monitoring his progress.
Earlier last week, his manager, Samuel Anim Addo revealed that a lot of clubs have been monitoring the progress of the 16-year old, with Bayern Munich being one of the frontrunners.
He had been scheduled to have trials with the U17s and meet both U17 and U19 coaches at Bayern Munich, Miroslav Klose and Martin Demicheles.
It is unclear how the trials went but the young winger will however rejoin Kotoko as pre scheduled and see out the rest of the season with the porcupine warriors.
Matthew Anim Cudjoe has featured 6 times for Kotoko this season, all being substitute appearances and scored one goal for the porcupine warriors.
His return is a major boost for a Kotoko side that are very light in that area of the field with the contract issues of striker Sogne Yacouba keeping him out of the squad temporarily.
Kotoko face Dreams in Week 9 of the Ghana Premier League.
