Alex Wingate, a respected leader in the MSW community and a Major in US Army Special Operations, passed away on Monday, December 9th, following a car accident.
Wingate joined MSW in 2013, attending his first event that year.
His enthusiasm led to the creation of the cadre program, with its initial members all recruited by him.
Over the years, he remained an integral part of the community, participating in events whenever his schedule allowed. His last involvement was in October.
In addition to his contributions to MSW, Wingate was a loving husband and father to four children. Those who met him described him as enthusiastic, professional, and deeply dedicated to his work and family.
The MSW community mourns the loss of a cherished member whose impact shaped the organization.
He is survived by his wife, Corey, and their four children.
