All Golden Movie Awards Winners

The Golden Movie Awards (GMAA) is an award scheme set up to honour outstanding performances by all stakeholders of the movie and film industry, in and outside Ghana.

It was first hosted in 2015 and was welcomed by the Ghana movie industry and its patrons with open arms. It has been hosted consistently since 2015 and has awarded stakeholders, as it has deemed fit.

The award scheme has set aside an average of twenty-four categories, with “Overall Golden movie” as the highest award that can be won. Since its inception, “Knocking on Heaven’s Door”, “The Cursed Ones”, “Lotanna” and “A good time to divorce” have been awarded “Overall Best Movie” in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 respectively.
