Lil Wayne has one less baby mama drama as paternity test results obtained by TMZ, revealed the rapper is not the biological father of 16-year-old Dwayne Brown.
The teen’s mother, Keiotia Watson, filed a paternity suit against the New Orleans rapper back in 2015, claiming her and Wayne’s sexual relationship in the early 2000s resulted in pregnancy.
A judge reportedly ordered Wayne to begin paying Watson $5,000 a month in child support in addition to providing for the boy’s medical insurance.
The 35-year-old rapper denied the woman’s claims, insisting they never had sexual contact.
“I do not believe it is possible that I am the biological father of Dwayne Brown,” Wayne said in a statement.
“I have never acknowledged Dwayne Brown as my son, nor was I ever made aware of his birth until I was served with the petition… I am the loving father of four children, all of whom I provided support for since birth. Up until now, I have never been involved in a child support case.”
Last month, it was reported that
Wayne had requested to take a DNA test to determine whether or not he was Dwayne’s biological father. Sources said that if the results confirmed Watson’s claims, the rapper would take full responsibility as a parent and would provide financial support for the teen.
The paternity tests have corroborated Lil Wayne’s claims as it revealed the teenage boy isn’t his.
