Let’s Support The 3 Top Musicians In Ghana Currently – Akoo Nana
Hip-life musician, William Ato Ankrah, popularly known as Akoo Nana has called for support for the arguable three top artistes in the Ghanaian music industry, namely Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
He made this assertion in an interview with KMJ on Hitz Fm’s Daybreak Hitz on Monday.
His statement is in reply to a statement made by veteran rapper Tic Tac that it is sad to see the Ghanaian music industry being dominated by only three artists namely Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. Tic Tac said Ghana music can do better and called for support for other music acts in the country.
As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the Amponsah hit maker said he disagrees with his colleague rapper and that he personally believes it’s all about seasons in the career of an artiste. He further stated that lots of people have had their good times and if it’s now the turn of 3 people, the industry needs to support them and respect them. ”Mr. Tic is a big man. He’s a brother. I respect that but if 3 soldiers are driving the car, let’s respect them. We are all pushing. Everyone is going. That’s it. Let’s respect that and support”.
Akoo Nana, now Naana responded to the ongoing Menzgold saga and his connection to the boss of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah. Even though he refused to disclose how much he had invested in Menzgold, he said he supports Menzgold 100% because he has his investment in the gold dealership firm. “I support Menzgold 100% because my money is there too. I can’t disclose how much that is because that is my private life.”
The hip-life artiste called for all Menzgold customers to have faith and believe that everything will be fine and they will get their monies back. He added that it will happen sooner than expected.
