Lecturing Doesn’t Pay Bill’s; I earn Less Than $1,000 From It In A Month – Lawyer Kissi Agyebeng

KISSI AGYEBENG

Head of Tiger Eye PI, Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw’s lawyer, Kissi Agyebeng ESQ. has been interviewed by Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi (Bola Ray) on Starr 103.5 F.M.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the lawyer described what a typical day in his work life looks like; Going to Court, doing academic work, and attending meetings.

Kissi, who started his teaching journey in 2003 as a Teaching Assistant after completing the Ghana School of Law has since been teaching for sixteen years. When asked how lucrative lecturing was, he revealed that it’s not lucrative. He went on further to disclose that he earns less than One thousand dollars (US$1,000.00) a month from lecturing.

To depend on that would mean one may end up a pauper. When asked why then he does it, Kissi said it’s something he does because of the love and passion he has for it. Pushed to choose between litigating and lecturing, he chose lecturing however, he believes the action is in the Courtroom.

Occasionally, he’s asked of his opinion on certain matters when he’s before a Court, because he’s a lecturer.

Kissi Agyebeng Esq. earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in 2001 from the University of Ghana with First Class Honours and he was awarded the Bentsi-Enchill prize for Best Graduating Law Student.

He proceeded to the Ghana School of Law and he was called to the Ghana Bar in October 2003, earning the E.N. Sowah Memorial prize for best student in Family Law. Kissi also has two Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees.
