Mrs. Emeafa Hardcastle is a Ghanaian lawyer by profession.
She is a senior member of the Ghana Bar Association and a senior partner with LithurBrew & Company
Career
Her career spans 21 years with extensive experience in Corporate and Commercial Law practice.
She has worked as a private legal practitioner as well as in the Banking Industry. She has also worked as Deputy Head, Economic Section, Economic Trade attaché of the Swiss Embassy.
She had a stint with the Hogan and Lovell, UK under International Lawyers for Africa program. She also has a wealth of experience in the Energy Sector.
She served on the Board of Petroleum Commission.
She also undertakes consultancy services on Corporate Law.
Education
Emeafa received her Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Ghana and later completed an LLM at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
After admission to the Bar in 1995, her early career was in private legal practice in Ghana, with a particular focus on commercial and corporate law.
This experience was later complemented with a position within the banking sector as Legal Counsel where she was involved in legal drafting as well as maintaining relationships both within and outside the sector.
She was awarded the FKA Apaloo prize for Company Law whiles at the Ghana School of Law.
