Lalela Mswane has been crowned Miss South Africa 2021 after a glitzy ceremony in Cape Town on Saturday night.
Lalela Mswane, 24, is a lawyer and a dancer who has a wide range of talents.

1. Law Degree
Lalela is not only beautiful, charming, and smart, but she is also a law graduate.
She has an LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from the University of Pretoria.
2. Ballet Dancer
Mswane grew up in Pretoria and attended Crawford Preparatory where she fell in love with ballet. Her training began when she was nine years old.
While in high school, she had the opportunity to expand her dance knowledge given the dance classes she took included music appreciation, dance history and theory, anatomy, and practice.
During her matric year, she majored in ballet, which led her to achieve a distinction in the Royal Academy of Dance Advanced Level Two examinations.
3. Singer
Lalela is gifted with singing abilities. During her interview prior to the Miss South Africa 2021 pageant, Lalela said,
I think I’m a good singer. My singing once made a mate of mine cry, good tears I assume – otherwise, that would be rather awkward – so I felt validated in my singing ability.
4. Professional Model
She made her pageantry debut after competing in the Matric Experience 2015 pageant, where she finished as first runner-up.
Later, she worked as a professional model with the Alushi Models agency in South Africa.
5. Fear of Miss SA pageant
In an interview, the 24-year-old confessed that she had been anxious about competing in the Miss SA pageant.
Although she was terrified of competing, she won the pageant anyway.
Prior to entering Miss SA, I would have said, I’m afraid to enter this pageant. Because I was so afraid to do so for the longest time but this year, I took a leap of faith and I’m extremely grateful.
