A Nigerian lady reacted to a public proposal by her boyfriend in Abuja in a strange and unexpected manner.
The man proposed marriage to her at the popular Plaza in Wuse II, Abuja, and it got the attention of shoppers as well as traders.
This left the lady embarrassed as she made attempts to make him realize she was not comfortable with being put on the spot.
In a video that has gone viral, the boyfriend could be seen on his knee with the ring in his a hand, but the lady seemed not to approve of the time and location of the said act.
She tried to get him to stand up but failed, even as onlookers were urging her to say yes.
After trying fruitlessly to make him get up, she emptied the bottle of water on him and stormed off.
