Kwesi Arthur has responded to his dad’s dislike for his hairstyle by stating that he loves having hair on his head and will consider taking his dread hairstyle off in the future.

The Tema based rapper was in the news some few days ago after his dad stated in an interview that he doesn’t support his son having the hairstyle he has now. To support his claim, he stated that he is a committed Pentecostal and in conformation with his beliefs, he would love to see his son get rid of his hairstyle.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh on Monday, Kwesi Arthur told Andy Dosty of Hitz Fm that his dad’s statement doesn’t come as strange news for him, insisting that his dad has always disliked it when he grows his hair even since his school days. “My dad has always been against my hair. Ever since high school days”.

He however stated that he loves to have his hair grown and has explained to his dad that it’s what he wants at this stage of his life. He added that he will consider taking it off in the future. “I love having hair on my head. It’s what I want. I want it to grow. I’ve explained to him but he still wants me to cut it”.

The rapper who released his second studio EP some weeks ago said it’s receiving lots of love and support from across the world, saying he had 2 million streams across in its first week of release. He thanked everyone for supporting him.
