Kula Wins VGMA’s Unsung Artiste Of The Year 2019

Ahead of the biggest night in the Ghanaian music calendar, Charterhouse, organisers of the annual Ghana Music Awards in partnership with Close Up have announced the winner for the Unsung Category at this year’s awards.

In a keenly contested battle, Kula won over 7 other contestants including Okailey Verse (OV), Mr Drew, Unyx, Efe Keyz, Mantse A.Y, Lycon and Script T
 
This means that, Kula will get to perform live at this year’s VGMAs to get the exposure that he needs to finally break into the lime light, the event will show live on TV3 in Ghana, across Africa on DSTV, and across the world on social media.

 
The Unsung Category is a coveted award for up and coming musicians as the final winner is given the maximum exposure to break into the music space.
 
This year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Unsung Category promises to be the most exciting.
 
The 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Saturday May 18 2019.The night, dubbed GH Music’s biggest Night will see performances from some of the country’s biggest and hottest acts with other performing artistes from Nigeria, South Africa,The Barbados and more. Tickets are selling now at Nallem Stores at all the malls and Charterhouse for 400 cedis platinum and 250 cedis Gold.
