Movie producer Ola Michael has revealed he has paid actor Kofi Adjorlolo an amount of GHc 1,000 as balance after the veteran played a role in his movie.
Some weeks ago, Kofi Adjorlolo asked some movie producers in Ghana to respect themselves and pay him monies they owe him.
Ola Michael said he was vexed by the rants of the veteran actor and decided to pay him the balance although he didn’t complete the project.
It is gathered that Kofi Adjorlolo had charged an amount of GHc 6,000 for the movie role but was given part payment.
In an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Ola Michael alleged that Kofi Adjorlolo was under the influence when he made the comment.
”He refused to help with the publicity. Now that I have paid him, how do I make back those loses that he made for me. (I paid him) just recently because it was getting annoying”
”The man spoke under the influence of alcohol. If you don’t know I am telling you. I stand by it. I am not changing, I am not withdrawing”, he stressed.
Joy Prime’s Ibrahim Ben-Baako who conducted the interview with Kofi Adjorlolo was called to confirm or deny if the veteran actor reeked of alcohol during the interview.
According to Ibrahim Ben-Baako, ”whether it was from his mouth or anywhere, I smelt (alcohol)”.
