Gospel musician Koda has cautioned the public to refrain from indulging in social media curses.

According to him, those curses work and can damage the life of individuals if care is not taken.

It’s no more a thing of shyness and maturity. Social media users are always raining curses on themselves for one reason to another. Quite recently, actress Selly Galley cursed a user who called her barren, an issue that attracted a lot of buzz on social media.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, Koda was of the strong view that words are really powerful and go a long way to affect the lives of people. He said curses on social media are mostly disregarded but have adverse effects on people and their lives. He asked for people to avoid getting into trouble with one another on social media and be kind so they don’t end up destroying the lives of one another.

He said; “it works, I am telling you. Even if you take away the God factor, there are forces around who work on these curses. They pick the words and run with them, so do not think because they are on social media, they will not have an effect on you.

“If you are out there and you have been a victim, please go on your knees and pray and ask God to intervene because there are things beyond our eyes.”
