My religion stopped me from kissing in movies – Actor Ali Nuhu
Nigerian actor Ali Nuhu has said that his religion and culture stopped him from kissing and hugging in movies.
The actor plies his trade in the Kannywood film industry in Nigeria, dominated mostly by Muslims.
Speaking in an interview with BBC, the actor , said he has had to turn down explicit roles because his religion does not permit it.
He said: “I come from the North, and I’m a Muslim. My culture and religion does not allow for that, so I stopped acting in scenes like that.”
“People talk about it all over but I personally think it out as an ambassador of my culture and religion and stopped,” he added.
