Ghanaian singer Gregory Promise Bortey Neyman best known in showbiz as King Promise has opened up on what inspires him to write his songs and has stated that he writes his with the imagination that listeners should love his music and always want to hear them.
The singer disclosed this in an interview with Hitz Fm’s Andy Dosty on Tuesday.
The song writer of the year winner at the 2019 VGMAs and the writer of Adina’s Too Late song which won the same award in the previous year was answering questions on what inspires him to deliver such good products. He revealed that he writes his music for himself and with no one in mind. “I write songs for myself”, he said.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the CCTV hit maker added that he always has always gets into the head of people he’s writing for and figures out what they want before writing for them. To climax his submission, he added that he wants his music to be loved and accepted by people when he’s writing, so he doesn’t just write any type of music for the public.
King Promise is scheduled to release his debut album ‘AS PROMISED’ on Friday.
