According to Metropolitan Nashville Police Department , Khadree Renfro, who was suspected of carrying out an unprovoked attack at a Nashville laundromat on Wednesday, has been arrested.
Earlier, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department had issued a warning to the public, asking them to be alert for the suspect, who was later identified as 32-year-old Khadree Renfro.
The department had also released a video of the attack, which showed Renfro wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes, and striking a 45-year-old victim several times in the head and neck area with a cane or pipe.
After the video was posted, Renfro was apprehended by Metro Nashville police within eight hours.
“The suspected attacker, Khadree Renfro, 32, was arrested tonight on Pennock Avenue by detectives from the Violent Crimes Division & the East Precinct’s Community Field Intelligence Team. Charges are forthcoming,” the police said on social media.
Police believe Renfro is the same man wanted in the March 16 attack on a 27-year-old man who was having car trouble on East Due West Avenue, the March 18 attack on a 32-year-old man outside the Citgo market at 2705 Dickerson Pike, and the March 19 attack on a 31-year-old man who was jogging on Lischey Avenue.
The silver Hyundai SUV is tied to each of these incidents, according to the arrest reports.
