Julian Snyder, a teen athlete at Case Roble High School in Orangevale, California, has died following a car accident.
Snyder’s death was announced by numerous local community leaders and organizations he was involved in.
Jenn Gustafson, founder/President at Orangevale Mom’s club, shared the tragic news to her cohorts, writing: “Our community suffered a terrible loss yesterday. One of our own Casa Roble kids was in a terrible accident and unfortunately passed away. Julian Snyder #52 will be incredibly missed by all who knew and loved him,” she said.
Gustafson added: “He was a good kid… just a few months ago when we needed some help setting up tables and chairs for the Treat Our Teachers event he and his brother showed up to help. He was friendly and kind every time I saw him. What a great kid.”
Snyder, a senior at Casa Robles, played varsity football at the school.
He was also a talented rugby player and was on the Mother Lode Rugby Football Club varsity team.
His tragic death has stunned his family who are seeking help to navigate this tough time through donations.
Donations are being accepted through Venmo and Zelle.
A candlelight vigil has been scheduled for Monday November 18, at 5:30 PM on the Casa Roble field to honor Julian’s memory and support the Snyder family.
