The former Ashanti Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress, Joseph Yammin went hard on the Christian Council of Ghana and Civil Society Organisations (CSO) in the country.

According to Joseph Yammin , they have no right to speak out when the NDC gains power one day and goes according to the ways of President Nana Akuffo Addo.

Yammin in an interview with a Kumasi-based radio station mentioned that when Mahama was in power, the Christian council and some society organisations took every chance they got to criticize his administration. He added that even though Nana Addo is doing worse now, they can’t do same because it is satisfying their selfish needs as organizations.

He indicated that their silence will be needed moving forward when the NDC comes to power one day. He said;

“The hypocritical stands of some Civil Society Organizations is worried and will surely affect the nation tomorrow. Those who were talking yesterday when John Dramani Mahama was president are silent and quiet today because Nana Akufo-Addo is the President”

“We are going to use the same road which has been constructed today. The NDC as a political party will travel on the same road which President Akufo-Addo is traveling on to get to its destination. The car NDC party will use to get to its destination shouldn’t be no one problem”
