Ghanaian international and Pyramids FC forward, John Antwi was on target again for his Egyptian club side Pyramids FC as they defeated Al Mokawloon 2-0 in the Egyptian league
The Ghanaian forward, who has spent the best part of his career plying his trade in the middle east and north America seems to have finally settled with the Egyptian giants as they seek to make in roads in this season’s Egyptian Premier League and the African Champions League.
The player, who spent his youth career with Dreams FC before moving on to Sekondi Eleven Wise left Ghana for Ismaily in Egypt in 2013 and has since enjoyed some fair success in that part of the continent.
His goal takes his season’s tally to 7 with 3 assists in 26 appearances for the Egyptian side, who move to 4th on the league table.
In the champions league however, Pyramids have managed to seal qualification out of the group stages into the quarter final stage.
After narrowly missing out on a Black Stars call up for the AFCON 2019 last summer, Antwi will be looking to weave his way into the good books of coach CK Akunnor ahead of the March international games.
