Jessica Opare-Saforo quits Citi FM

After 17 years at Adabraka-based Citi FM, Jessica Opare-Saforo has decided to leave the station.

According to a report sighted on ghanaweekend.com, Jessica’s relationship with the media company ended today, January 28, 2022.

Since joining the station 17 years ago, Jessica has hosted many flagship shows including ‘Brunch in the Citi’, ‘Sex in the Citi’, ‘Sister Sister’, ‘Upside Down’ and ‘Traffic Avenue’ (formerly ‘Citi Drive’) which is Citi FM’s late afternoon show.

Before leaving Citi FM and Citi TV, Jessica was the Programme Manager, the host of ‘Traffic Avenue’ on Citi FM, and the host of ‘Sister Sister’ on television and radio.

She began her career as a broadcaster at Vibe FM about 22 years ago.

 Before joining Citi FM in 2005, she worked at Choice FM 

Jessica also hosted a weight-loss reality show called ‘Transformation with Jess’, Ghana’s first weight loss television show.

In addition to that, she was a presenter of Celebrity Fanzone on GH One TV.

She completed her secondary education at Akosombo International School and holds a bachelor’s degree in Art from the University of Ghana, Legon, where she majored in Economics and Psychology.
