Two Montgomery men were shot and killed early Friday morning in the city, authorities said.
Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the 500 block of North Eastern Boulevard around 1:57 a.m. Friday on a report of people shot, said Maj. Saba Coleman.
The victims, identified as Montgomery residents Jeroderick Bell, 29, and 30-year-old Devin Ligon, sustained life-threatening gunshot wounds, said Coleman.
The men were taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident involving people who knew each other.
