Kelvyn Boy Snub

Singer Kelvin Brown known by his popular stage name Kelvin Boy has cleared the air on snubbing singer Wendy Shay at the Peace Conference of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy on Tuesday and has said his action was not deliberate.

The singer said this in an interview with Okay Fm’s Abeiku Santana on Tuesday.

In a video which broke out on social media, Kelvin Boy, who doubles as a signee of dancehall act Stonebwoy after the Peace press conference went on stage to exchange pleasantries with those on the stage and also join in taking pictures. The singer shook hands with Bullet, manager of Wendy Shay and skipped her to hug Shatta Wale even when Wendy Shay openly said ‘hi’.

In the said interview with Abeiku Santana, the singer explained that he didn’t deliberately snub Wendy Shay but was far behind time to join the people on stage. He said he was supposed to have been on the stage earlier but delayed and when he got on stage, he had to personally decide to skip people so as to finish exchanging pleasantries on time for the picture session, and it was unfortunate Wendy Shay was skipped.

He added that his act was misinterpreted by Ghanaians and asked everyone to watch the video properly and understand why he did what he did.
