In her first job after graduation, Ini Dima-Okojie worked at a telecommunications company as a customer care representative.
Having a strong knowledge of numbers and finance, she worked in the banking industry for two years for a company called Cardinal Supreme Partners.
Although she started out as a banker, her passion for acting ultimately led to her leaving the field.
Her initial goal was to return to school and land a corporate job, which she did, but her love for acting ultimately got in the way.
It was not an easy decision for her to leave, she explained in an interview.
Initially, her father and mother were unimpressed, but later supported her decision and stood by her.
In the months following her resignation,Ini signed up at New York Film Academy to sharpen her acting skills.
She made her acting debut in the movie Bad Hair Day while still studying at the academy.

Her success in the acting industry is the result of the support she’s received from both her parents.
As soon as Ini returned to Nigeria after graduating in 2014, her acting career gained momentum, and she has not looked back since.

She landed her first major acting role in Taste of Love (2014), after working as a production assistant on the TV series Before 30.
