Toke Makinwa has denied reports that she is currently in a serious relationship.

There have been reports that the 34-year-old is dating a gentleman called Farouk, and she somewhat confirmed the rumours when she wrote on Instagram that this was her last year as a single girl.

But taking to Twitter Wednesday morning, Toke Makinwa says she is still single and not involved in any relationship.

According to her, she is still single not because men do not want her but because she is taking her time to choose the right man.

“First, I am still single, as single as a dollar bill but not as a result of the scarcity of “men”, but by choice. I love me too much to share me with anyone till…. well till I find someone who is worth it,” she tweeted.

She added that despite her failed union with fitness instructor Maje Ayida, she is still very much a big fan of marriage.

“Second, I am not anti-marriage, I love the institution, the greatest love story I have ever heard of or seen was my folks, they loved and joked about dying together and they were buried side by side. I am a lover girl, just won’t tolerate the BS. 😂,” she wrote.
