I’m Not In A Hurry To Part Ways With High Grade Family – Kofi Kinaata

Well,  it looks like there’s some form of window period or better still a wind of change blowing to and fro in our Ghanaian music industry as musicians have been switching their record labels to more lucrative record deals.

Award winning music act, Kofi Kinata has told Sokoohemaa on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that he has no intention of parting ways with the High Grade Family/Samini Music.

Describing himself as multi-talented, Kofi Kinata said he owes Samini, a lot of gratitude considering the grooming and platforms granted him to succeed as an award winning musician.

The musician who has spent four years with the high grade family, said he was not in a hurry to part ways them.

According to him he has been transformed extraordinarily after joining the high grade family. The musician said he has signed a contact with High grade family but failed to disclose the content of the contract adding, my contract has not expired and I am not in a hurry to leave.

When asked if he will accept any deal from any management, the musician said it will depend on what the deal will be.

“I am not in a hurry to leave High Grade Family. They have not done anything that will make me part ways with them. I have transformed and learnt a lot after joining them. When I joined, I was only rapping but now I have transformed. I sing and rap as well. Comparing the talent I brought to High Grade and the transformation today, I will say I have transformed.’’

Kofi Kinaata posited that whenever the opportunity comes for him to leave, he will consider all the terms and conditions associated with the new deal before he’ll move from High Grade Grade at last.
