Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s ex-aide, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has taken to social media to drop some of his #RenosNuggets which revolve around relationship and financial commitment.
Reno Omokri advised men against allowing themselves to be pressured into attending to a woman’s financial needs simply because they are ‘romancing’.
The author and social critic said it may be a nice thing for a man to take care of a woman financially, but it is an unwise decision.
Omokri, however noted that it is important for men to listen and pay attention when their girlfriend says she needs money, but that he should immediately shut her down by making her realise that he is not her father.
In his words; “Dear men, When a woman you date tells you she needs money, listen calmly without interrupting, then respond thus, ‘I am sorry, but it seems you mistake me for your father’. Don’t be pressured into financing a woman you are romancing. It is nice. It is not wise”.
