A staunch member of the NDC, Stephen Atubiga has cautioned UTV not to kowtow to pressure from the ruling NPP to sack renowned Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown from her role as host of United Showbiz.
There have been speculations that the multiple award-winning actress has been sacked from the station, after she was replaced by veteran broadcaster, Abeiku Santana on the show yesterday.
There has been severe backlash on the program and the Station following comments made by former pundit, Bulldog against the President which were deemed to be threats, and for which he is facing trial.
Some Ghanaians, especially sympathizers of the NPP have argued that Nana Ama McBrown as host, failed to reign in on the pundit, leading to him spewing dangerous opinions.
Atubiga believes that any attempt by the Station to sack the respected actress, who has become the face of the show, will spell doom.
