Outgoing Member of Parliament for Kumbugu, Honourable Ras Mubarak has hinted that he will be seeking a return to parliament in 2024.

The lawmaker disclosed this in an interview with Accra based Rainbow Fm on Wednesday ahead of the dissolution of the 7th parliament.

Ras Mubarak lost his bid to re-run when he lost the primaries to his colleague Dr. Hamza Adams who is replacing him as the next MP for Kumbugu in the 8th parliament.

Disclosing how he feels in his interview, he established that he feels okay, noting that it was God’s plan for everything to go the way it has. He thanked the people of Kumbugu for giving him the honor to serve them and disclosed that hopefully he would contest and win in 2024.

“When you have life, you have everything. God willing, in 2024, I will contest as an MP.” As somebody who enjoys lawmaking, I would have wished to be part of the 8th Parliament but God worked in different ways. If I am alive in 2024, I will contest,”.
