After Samini had tweeted that he and Stonebwoy were denied the opportunity to perform at Shatta Wale’s ‘Reign’ album, there were some comments on Social media that suggested that, it was Bulldog who prevented them from performing that night.
Shatta Wale in a reply to Samini’s tweet mentioned that, he had no knowledge of their presence that night and apologised to them, but even that there is some evidence which suggests that Wale was fully aware of their presence and even asked his fans if they wanted to see Samini and Stonebwoy on stage, in which his fans responded in the negative.
But Bulldog has in an interview on Hitz Fm admitted that he didn’t’ allow them to perform that night for good reasons.
According to him, he and management of Shatta Wale made that decision to prevent any unfortunate scene from happening. He said; “It would have been something else if they had come on stage. …It would have been a little bit chaotic”.
He continued saying; “We saw a video by Stonebwoy where he said that if Ghana were Jamaica, Shatta Wale would have been killed. …We chanced on a post on social media that said if Sarkodie came, they would have broken his car…”
In the other words of Bulldog, he didn’t want a situation where some agitation would harm any of the artistes.
