Multiple award winning Disk Jockey (DJ) and presenter, Andrew Amoh known in showbiz has voiced out his grievances about support from fellow musicians and has said he also needs their support too.
The popular DJ made this point clear on his official facebook page.
For almost two decades in the entertainment scene, the DJ who has also built a repute in radio presenting has been interviewing musicians from all spheres of life shooting their works into the limelight but this might be the end of a good course.
In the said post sited by ghlinks.com.gh, Andy Dosty lamented about not getting support from fellow musicians when he released a song with Kuame Eugene. He indicated that it hurt him a lot since he also needs a favor returned. He indicated that he is restraining from supporting musicians who don’t support him except those who do so. He wrote;
“When I released my song featuring Kuame Eugene “Love you die”, very few musicians posted and tweeted the link, yet almost every musician want help from me (especially knowing that I don’t CHANGE any money and do it freely for artists). I have hundreds of them sending me messages requesting for interviews and promotions of their song. The cheek of it… Sending me links to download them on YouTube. Henceforth I’ll DELETE any link sent to me apart from the few musicians who support me when I also need help. Although I sit on radio and TV, I can’t be playing or promoting my songs everyday on a station that is not meant for my songs alone. I’m no superhuman, I also need your support. Hand go, hand come”.
