I Made History With 'After The Storm ' Album Release - Shatta Wale

Ever since the self-acclaimed African dancehall king, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known in showbiz as Shatta Wale made his big return to the music scene after about 10 years, he has been credited with his impressive ability to pull large crowds to his concerts.

Till this day, it is an arguable fact that he is the only artiste or one of the few artistes who can single-handedly fill very large concert venues in the country. His Reign album launch and his Thanksgiving concert which he held at the Fantasy Dome and Mantse-Agbonaa respectively are few examples of his command over his fans.

The 29th of April 2019 was exactly 3 years since the boss of the SM Empire held another historic album launch concert dubbed ‘After The Storm’ concert at the Independence Square in Accra and as usual it saw a jaw-dropping crowd assemble at the venue to jam to hit songs on the album.

He noted that everybody who came to his album launch came there because of him and no one else. He also shared how he thrilled his fans for more than 3 hours with an energetic performance, performing hit songs after hit songs.

Concluding his long message, he said for an artiste to single-handedly do those makes it a big achievement, describing it as ‘unprecedented’.
