Actress Lydia Forson seems to be living her “best life” recently. There has been a visible change in her choice of clothing, her travel adventures have been documented on social media platform, Instagram and her personality seems to shine a bit more now. We’re all for positive change.
The actress has been rumoured to be dating or allegedly in a relationship with Wanlov Kubolor, a carefree member of FOKN BOIZ (music duo) who’s also musician Sister Derby’s brother.
Lydia Forson is known to be one of the outspoken female celebrities. She has as of today, taken to Instagram to get some things off her chest, while advising young ladies.
According to Lydia, as girls grow up, older women advice girls and younger women to live life in a certain way, rather than allowing them live, devoid of restrictions.
The actress, who’s now in her thirties, says she looks back at her twenties and wishes she wasn’t too scared to live life on her terms for fear of turning out a certain way. It’s safe to assume that as a result of such influences in her life, she was unable to live the way she wanted to, in her twenties.
She advised young women to allow themselves to make mistakes of their own and learn from them, rather than learning from other people’s mistakes only. Also, she advised that such living should be done responsibly.
Her message boiled down to women not allowing themselves to be caged based on what society says, which might eventually result in living a “sheltered” life full of fear.
It’s never too late to rewrite one’s narrative. If living life on her terms is what she wants, more grease to her elbows.

I’m in my 30’s and I still look back at my 20’s and have a list of things I wish I hadn’t been too scared to do. Allow yourself to make mistakes, learn and grow from them. But don’t live by anyone’s rules but your own; it’s better to look back and be glad you did than regret you didn’t. So yes, be responsible, learn from other people’s mistakes if you can and listen to their advice BUT do NOT let them cage you into living a sheltered life full of fear. #theCore
