Ex Ghanaian footballer, Odartey Lamptey, has admitted that he’s been a tenant for eight years even though he owns houses in Accra.
The reason for this is the prolonged legal battle that exists between him ( Odartey Lamptey ) and his former wife ( Gloria Appiah ).
Even though she was ordered by the Accra High Court to receive alimony, a car, and GHC200,000 in 2017, she is still living in his seven-bedroom apartment at East Legon.
Following a loss in her earlier battle to also own the seven-bedroom house, Gloria Appiah appealed once again to the Appeal Court in order to gain possession of Ordatey’s seven-bedroom house located in East Legon but she was unsuccessful as the ruling ultimately went in favor of Ordatey.
During a recent interview with Angel FM, Odartey Lamptey disclosed with great sadness that he has been renting an apartment for eight years with his new wife and children.

Among the properties he owns are a seven-bedroom house in East Legon and a four-bedroom house at Dome, all in Accra.
