Veteran actor and broadcaster, Mikki Osei Berko popularly referred to as Dada Boat has shown his interest in occupying the highest of the land by saying he if he could, he would want to be a president of Ghana one day.
He made this known in an interview with Sammy Forson of Joy Fm on Monday.
As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the actor and broadcaster didn’t rule out his possibilities of going higher in politics when he was asked which office he would want to occupy one day as a politician. He told host Sammy Forson that he believes he would be good as the president one day and wouldn’t want to rule that out. “I’m good at the presidency. I believe that if it is possible God will make it so. I don’t believe that I’m too little to occupy one day the highest office of the state”
In response to which type of President he would be should he assume power, he stated that he would be the type of president who will fill the stomachs of the people. Explaining his point further, he said he has had to come from a struggling background since childhood and understands how difficult it is to think straight when one is hungry. He added that having had that experience for a better part of his life, he wouldn’t be okay seeing people go through the ordeal.
He went further to state that providing certain key necessities of life such as food, shelter and good infrastructure such as good health care, roads, etc would be key should he get the chance to serve as president.
