Father of late dancehall diva Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng popularly referred to as Starboy Kwarteng has revealed his reason for establishing a new record label a year and some months after the demise of his daughter and has said that he wants to continue the good legacy of his dead  daughter.

Starboy Kwarteng disclosed this in an interview with broadcaster Akwesi Aboagye on Akwesi Aboagye Live.

A year after Ebony Reigns died, her father disclosed in interviews that he intends to establish a record label in honor of his dead daughter. Some few months after making this intention known, Starboy Kwarteng has come out with a record label called ‘Bony To The World’ and even has a new signee on the label.

As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the father of the dancehall diva told host Akwesi Aboagye that he established the record label to continue the good legacy of his daughter, considering the fact that her daughter was such an amazing talent whose legacy shouldn’t be allowed to die. “If you watch the ladies in the music industry now, no one has the legacy that Ebony had. If you watch her style and her fan base, they were impressive. You don’t let someone like this die”, he said.

Starboy Kwarteng unveiled a new lady signed unto his new record label and disclosed that he has signed her on a 5-year contract to manage her completely as an artist.

Mr. Kwarteng added that the lady in question is a good song writer who will write and perform her own songs but will be performing other unsung songs of Ebony Reigns too.
