Award-winning rapper Emmanuel Botway, known in real life as Kwaw Kesse gives us countless reasons to believe he is a man of his words and takes responsibility for his actions.
‘The Man in Sane’ as he is affectionately called has replied a fan who tweeted at him and asked if he holds regrets for selling his awards he won at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) over the years and has said he holds no regrets for his actions.
Kwaw Kesse made headlines in 2017 when he showed up on stage with a wheel barrow in which he had all his VGMA plagues he had won over the years and said he was putting them up for sale. His actions caused a stir in the entertainment industry of Ghana with many people criticizing him and saying he disrespected the arguable most prestigious entertainment awards scheme in the country.
Some two years down the line, a fan asked him on twitter if he regrets his actions and what his reactions will be if he was nominated next year for the awards. The rapper in a reply to the fan indicated that he wants to see people banging to his songs, saying that is his award and does not regret a thing.

“Do you regret putting your VGMA awards in a wheelbarrow for auctioning at a low prize. And if not will you react if they decide not to nominate you next year? @Kwawkesse #Gettoknowwithkobby
