Months after the unfortunate incident where dancehall acts Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were involved in a brawl on the stage of the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), people are still wondering what effect it has had on these two acts considering how far the incident travelled both locally and internationally.
One of the two involved, Stonebwoy has opened up on life after the brawl and sanctions and has said he honestly doesn’t feel affected by the incident and sanctions placed on him by Chatter House, organizers of the awards scheme.
The Bhim Nation president was in an interview with Accra based Hitz Fm on Friday.
As monitored by ghlinks.com.gh, the award winning dancehall act said he sometimes forgets he has been banned from the awards scheme and has to be reminded by people.
“To be honest, I don’t feel affected at all. I don’t even remember I’ve been banned by the VGMA at until somebody says it. It’s not having any effect on me”.
Stonebwoy went further to open up on how hasty he feels the decisions of Chatter House on them were. He said he feels they rushed in taking the decision to ban them from the awards scheme and that he would hold talks with them when they decide to lift the ban on him before participating in the awards scheme again.
