Nigerian musician Iceberg Slim has rendered a contrite apology to his ex-girlfriend Juliet Ibrahim.
In a post on Instagram on Tuesday, Iceberg — real name Olusegun Olowokere — said he was sorry for failing the Ghanaian movie star despite she loving him unconditionally.
According to him, he cheated and lied in their much-publicized relationship.
“I lied, I cheated, I took your love for granted… and in turn, I brought ridicule and shame to you,” he wrote.
In his post, he said he is finally apologizing for his mistakes because he wants to heal.
“Why now? you may ask. In life, sometimes you have to reveal, in order to heal. And as I have revealed the true reasons for our breakup, healing comes next,” he added.
