Husband of missing but found Takoradi lady was moved to tears on Radio after hearing that the Western Regional Minister Kwabena Otchere Darko Mensah has reportedly disputed the nine-month pregnancy of his wife.
Madam Josephine Mensah was found in Axim on Tuesday, September 21 after five days of search.
Josephine was reported missing by her husband, Michael Simmons, on Friday, September 17 after a search for her the previous day proved futile.
She reportedly left home Thursday dawn for a walk but never returned.
The complainant, her husband, told the police his mother-in-law later had a call from an unknown person demanding a ransom, fuelling rumours of another kidnapping case in the Western Region capital.
The police immediately began a frantic search for the pregnant woman.
Josephine was eventually found in Axim yesterday after a tip-off and had been rendered supposedly unable to speak and without her pregnancy.
However, speaking on Takoradi-based Connect FM Wednesday morning, husband Michael Simmons said records are at the Takoradi Hospital to show that his wife has been pregnant for nine months.
He was moved to tears by the words of the regional Minister, claiming the National Security should have made its cross-checks before coming out with that piece of information.
