A woman, identified as Nicole Shoulders, was found dead Thursday morning following a shooting in Huntsville.
The incident occurred on the 500 block of Webster Drive, near Garrison Street NW, just after 5 a.m.
Huntsville Police responded to reports of a possible shooting in progress.
When officers arrived, they discovered the body of an adult female with a gunshot wound.
Multiple Huntsville Police patrol vehicles and HEMSI emergency units were seen at the scene.
Officers worked around the property for nearly two hours, and crime scene tape was set up near the home.
Victim’s Background
Nicole Shoulders was known to work as a janitor custodian at Landrum, according to her Facebook profile.
She started the job in January 2021. She attended S.R. Butler High School in Huntsville and left in 2016.

The Huntsville Police Department is continuing its investigation into the shooting.
