Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur, William Ato Ankrah best known by his showbiz name Akoo Nana has advised young entrepreneurs to be passionate about what they do and love it.
According to the musician, that’s the surest way to succeeding in entrepreneurship.
Akoo Nana has been in the music game for a while now but took a little break from music. According to him, he channeled much energy into his construction business and other side hustles he has, the latest being a bar located at Teshie-Nungua estates.
In an interview with Zionfelix on his ‘Uncut’ show, the musician responding to the question of what his advice to young people who aspire to be like him will be said passion and love for what one does is the only way to making it or being successful.
He indicated that the going gets really tough but when the focus isn’t about money, it finally pays off. “Have passion and love for what you do. Don’t think about money. Think about the sacrifice and risks for what you do and talk to a professional,” he said.
The Amponsah hit maker also advised that trust and respect for employees goes a long way in building a successful business, so every employer should have these qualities.
