The former Central Regional Chairman for the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Allotey Jacobs has said that he doesn’t have a good relationship with the flag bearer of the party, John Dramani Mahama.

He disclosed this in an interview with Accra-based Asempa Fm.

Mr. Allotey Jacobs is part of a few suspended members of the party. In the interview, he said John Mahama supported his dismissal from the party and as such isn’t his friend.

He added that he has not spoken to the flag bearer of the party since 2017 and has no reason to do so anytime soon.

“I don’t have a good relationship with Mahama. He endorsed my suspension. In a speech, he said that he endorsed my suspension. He is not my friend and I haven’t spoken to him since 2017 when he embarked on the Thank You Tour. I led him to some key figures of the NDC in the Central Region.

“He said it himself that I’m not his friend and that I only have a relationship with his brother, Ibrahim Mahama”, he said.
