Ahafo’s representative, Akua, has been booted out of Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB 2021) beauty pageant.
Her elimination from the GMB 2021 competition followed an evening of captivating folktales – tales passed down from generation to generation from her region.
This makes Akua the third person to be booted exactly one week after Esi and Tamah, representing Western North and North East, were evicted.
Due to the whirlwind of competition, the number of remaining competitors at GMB 2021 is now reduced to thirteen (13).
During the competition, Manu of the Western Region won the award for the ‘Star Performer of the Night.’
Her presentation was based on the story of the Asankabreman people about why dogs have black lips and brown skin.
In addition, the best costume at the GMB 2021 went to Akosua, who represents the Oti region.
Sarfoa also won the title of ‘Most Eloquent’ for her presentation on Asante, Kumawu, and Kumasi’s emergence.
The remaining contestants include Dede (Greater Accra), Nana (Bono East), Afua (Eastern), Sarfoa (Ashanti), Manu (Western), Teroo (Upper West), and Setor (Volta). Others are Kwansema (Central), Akosua (Oti), Teiya (Northern), Arama (Savannah), Mfodwo (Bono), and Wedaga (Upper East).
The show was umpired by regular judges Fritz Baffour, Jane Sunkwa-Mills, Dzigbordi Kwaku, and guest judge Amy Frimpong.
