The world was hit by the deadly corona virus early this year and has caused a global economic shutdown till date. Most countries in the world are on lockdown and economic halt. Ghana and Africa has been no exception. So far, the country has recorded over 60 cases with 3 deaths.
In view of this, the president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo established that 25th March, 2020 should be a day of fasting and prayer. Ghanaians have followed in that stead.
Reacting to the current happenings in Ghana, the gospel singer and worshipper who is Nigerian commended the leadership of the country for taking such a bold step.
In his Instagram post on Wednesday, he said the move will shift things for the good of Ghana and the world at large. He wrote;
“Ghana, your National Day of Prayer and fasting today will shift things. After we had the praise event early this morning, I had this dream where I was in a Ghanaian church. There were singing and prayers going on, all of a sudden everyone knelt almost at the same time. In the dream I felt or knew it was something VERY POWERFUL. We join our faith with yours, and those of God’s people around the world, today, that as you pray and fast, things will shift for good in the spirit and in our world in Jesus’ name!”
