Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has quashed talk that the unfortunate death of Ex. President Rawlings will bring good fortune for the party in the upcoming 2020 elections.
The “educated fisherman” believes good policies will be the major determinant in the outcome of the December 7, polls.
According to him, no amount of sympathy votes because of the passing of the NDC founder can work the magic if the party fails to campaign and sell its policies to the masses.
He stated that the good policies of President Akuffo-Addo and the ruling NPP government will present stiff opposition for the NDC in the elections.
