Media personality, Bridget Otoo has launched a scathing attack on the Ghana Police Service following their rambo-styled arrest of Citi FM journalists Caleb Kudah and Zoe Abu-Baidoo on Tuesday.
The Police on Tuesday stormed the premises of Citi FM to pick up Zoe for allegedly conspiring with her colleague, Caleb Kudah, to “secretly film” the compound of the Ministry of National Security.
According to reports, Mr Kudah was arrested while filming the compound as he waited for someone he had gone there to visit.
He then, allegedly, forwarded the video to Zoe which prompted the rambo style invasion.
Reacting to this on twitter, questioned the method used by the police to effect the arrest, particularly when the journalist was unarmed.
“This is the armed police that went to arrest @ZABaidoo Her only weapon was a pen, phone, and her shoe. You didn’t need armed officers, you could have even sent men who weren’t in uniform but I get it; Tactics and sense aren’t one of the strongest traits of @GhPoliceService”
