The coach of the Ghana U-20 team, Black Satelittes, Yaw Preko, has named an 18-man squad to represent Ghana at the All Africa games.
Ghana have a long history of performing well at the All Africa games, winning the Football event in the 2013 edition.
The development of the Black Satellites is crucial to the future of the Black Stars as the best generations of Black Stars squad trace their roots down to successful progression from the U-20 level.
The squad features some players from the previous U-17 team that represented the country at the U-17 world championships in India 2 years ago.
Coach Yaw Preko first names an 18 man squad that after trimming down his previous 27-man squad for the games.

The Ghana Black Satellites leave the country for Morocco on August 13 along with 4 other disciplines going to represent Ghana.
Ghana have been drawn in group B alongside Mali, Burundi and Senegal.
The tournament kicks off on the 16th of August and Ghana begin their campaign on the 21st of August as they face Burundi in their first group game.
