Gasmilla Talks About How His Telemo Song Impacted Atom’s Music Career

Popular hip-life artiste Odartei Milla Lamptey, known as Gasmilla has described his popular song Telemo as a blessing to his colleague artiste Atom’s music career.

Gasmilla made this known to Andy Dosty of Hitz Fm on Thursday when he was speaking his music and his Telemo song.

As monitored by, the artiste known for his dance moves in his azonto music videos revealed that Atom never contacted him or any member of his management before using the instrumentals of Telemo for his song Ye Wo Krom.

Describing how he felt when he heard a song he played has been used and even gone ahead to get nominations for an award scheme, he said he felt happy for Atom and saw his song as a blessing for the artiste who was then up and coming. He added that for Telemo to top the music chats for 9 continuous months and someone taking it to make a hit out of it was enough inspiration for him to work harder. “Telemo was a hit for 9 months. After telemo somebody else took the beat, jumped on it and blew up as well. For me, that’s my prayer answered. Because it changed his life. Nobody knew him back then”.

He further revealed that he had no intentions of suing Atom for any reason but his management could have taken the artiste on.

Talking about how much awards mean to an artiste, Gasmilla said awards were a booster for artistes, but other things people say to artistes to make them happy was also enough reason for them to work harder.
