Ghanaian female rap goddess, Ruth Eno Amankwah Nyame Adom, best known by her stage name Eno Barony is currently making trends after her flawless rap diss songs to Sista Afia.
Eno Barony has been tipped as the future of female rap music in Ghana.
However, some Ghanaians are of the view that the rapper has dope rap lines but fails to make hit songs out of them. Evident in a tweet by rapper Medikal, he claimed he will be the one Ghanaians listen to in their rooms while they give her fake hype for her attacks directed at him.
Her current song, ‘false them to play nonsense’ which she features colleagues Sister Debby and Strongman Burner has been the topic of discussion on various platforms as many see her act as assembling colleagues who also bare grudges against rapper Medikal and his wife Fella Makafui.
In an interview with Radio Central’s Amansan Krakye to address these claims by some ghanains, the female rapper noted that she doesn’t feel intimidated by these claims because people are obliged to have their own opinions, and that she takes these critics directed to her in good faith.
“What I can tell those who say i don’t have hit songs is that as for humans we can never be perfect. You’ll be better somewhere and be lacking elsewhere.
So once someone tells me something like that, I need to listen attentively, work harder and advise myself accordingly”, she said.
